# ICO to PNG

Canonical page: https://beta.convertexpress.com/ico-to-png

Save a browser-readable ICO icon as PNG. Multi-image ICOs use the browser-selected image.

## Use case

A ICO file may not be accepted by the app or upload form you need. ICO to PNG creates a separate PNG copy while leaving your original file untouched.

## Steps

1. Select the supported ICO input in the converter above.
2. Confirm PNG as the output and review any available options.
3. Choose Convert Now, download the result, and open it in the destination application.

## Limitations

An ICO can hold several image sizes. The current browser decoder selects an image; this tool does not promise to extract every embedded size.

Processing happens in the browser. No file upload is required for this local tool. The web interface and libraries are downloaded from the site. Device/browser limits apply.
