# JPG to ICO

Canonical page: https://beta.convertexpress.com/jpg-to-ico

Make a square browser icon from a JPG. The image is resized to at most 256 pixels.

## Use case

A JPG file may not be accepted by the app or upload form you need. JPG to ICO creates a separate ICO copy while leaving your original file untouched.

## Steps

1. Select the supported JPG input in the converter above.
2. Confirm ICO as the output and review any available options.
3. Choose Convert Now, download the result, and open it in the destination application.

## Limitations

Inspect the icon at its actual small display size. This route produces a square icon no larger than 256 pixels.

Processing happens in the browser. No file upload is required for this local tool. The web interface and libraries are downloaded from the site. Device/browser limits apply.
