# PNG to ICO

Canonical page: https://beta.convertexpress.com/png-to-ico

Create a square ICO icon using a resized PNG image.

## Use case

A PNG file may not be accepted by the app or upload form you need. PNG to ICO creates a separate ICO copy while leaving your original file untouched.

## Steps

1. Select the supported PNG input in the converter above.
2. Confirm ICO as the output and review any available options.
3. Choose Convert Now, download the result, and open it in the destination application.

## Limitations

Inspect the icon at its actual small display size. This route produces a square icon no larger than 256 pixels.
