# WebP to BMP

Make an uncompressed BMP from a WebP still image for software that expects bitmap files.

## Use case

A WEBP file may not be accepted by the app or upload form you need. WebP to BMP creates a separate BMP copy while leaving your original file untouched.

## Limitations

The BMP result uses uncompressed 24-bit pixels. It can be much larger than the input, and transparency is flattened over white.
